Planning a Trip for Me and My Man

I can’t believe I am graduating from college in a year. I could not be more excited. It was so weird that while watching this year’s class graduate, I was thinking to myself the entire time that that is going to be ME in just a short year.

While walking the dogs last night, Alex and I talked about planning a trip. We’ve never been on vacation just us two before, and this will be something fun to look forward to and plan together. I think we’re going to go NEXT January (so in a year and a half).

Today, I started looking at different places to stay. We’re searching through the hottest websites for hotel and flight booking to start pricing it out. Among our favorites so far are Hotwire, Expedia, and Kayak. It’s so much fun to do some “online shopping” for our vacation. I can’t wait!

I love the products from Bath and Body Works. I admit that I maybe go a TAD too far sometimes, but I love the scents there, am a member of their e-mail “club” so I get e-mails offering coupons and discounts, and like to match my scents. For example, I have body wash, lotion and body spray all in the same scent to layer them and increase the effect of this enticing scents.

Most people, however, don’t know that Bath and Body Works carries a great men’s line! They carry a variety of products: body spray (much like the Axe line), body lotion, body wash, after shave, cologne, and a hair and body wash combo. Right now is the perfect time to try this line out, because they are running a fantastic deal: buy 3 get 2 free! Put 5 items in the cart it will automatically apply.

I found a great guy-worthy website and I would love to share it! I frequently browse the web for sites that I can share with others. This is easy to do when I go onto StumbleUpon and “stumble” for hours. You really never know what you will find on that awesome site. This is how I came across Windings and I was impressed!

Windings carries a variety of parts. They have rotors, stators, moving coil motors and more. These are products that can be used in so many different markets including medical, automotive systems, factory automation, and a variety of others. Not only do they offer great products, but they have a repair service. It’s nice to know that all of the bases are covered.

Massages in Orange County are Tried and True Gifts

Tried and true gifts are ones that you can turn to in a pinch and know the recipient will appreciate them. I have several I keep in mind for times when I need a present last minute, I am unsure of what the person wants, needs, or likes, or I have put off the shopping and I have run out of time. Of course gift cards are great presents, they can be bought for many places in several dollar amounts, stores like Walgreens, and Menards carry them by the checkouts for restaurants, iTunes, and a variety of stores.

One of my favorite gifts to give are spa gift certificates. That way the recipient can schedule what ever they are of in need of, a pedicure, massages in Orange County, a facial or a body treatment. Massages feel good and there many different types, from full body, to just feet, or maybe just the back and neck. The person who doesn’t appreciate a massage is hard to find.

A Grillmaster Apron for Dad

My dad LOVES to grill. He likes to spend time outside just as much as anybody and is always thinking of what creations he can come up with to grill next. This makes it so that my family and I can eat like kings… We don’t complain about his grilling hobby one bit!

A Pagoda Fire Pit for the Guy That Loves the Outdoors

I love this time of year. It stays light a little bit later so we can enjoy our time outside, the motorcycle gets ridden almost daily, the dogs are always outside running around, the grill gets cooked on all of the time, and the windows in the house are open and the house smells nice and fresh.

Smoke: New Firewood Cooking Cookbook

Now that the weather has finally warmed up, I feel like we are grilling every evening for supper. During the winter, I am usually the one that does the cooking and I make a range of food from tacos, to spaghetti, to homemade soups in the crock pot.

Now that we are grilling out, Alex is doing most of the cooking which is a nice change of pace. It’s nice to have a break and enjoy some new grilling recipes. I found this cookbook called, “Smoke: New Firewood Cooking”. It explores different using woodchips for cooking. This is something that we both have wanted to try out. Using wood chips for cooking adds a whole new level of flavor and tastes GREAT!

I am surrounded my baseball fans. This is a huge hobby in our family and although it can be tiring at times, I’m so glad everybody has something in common to share in and talk about! Now that baseball season is in full swing, I’m seriously surrounded!

Baseball is almost always playing on television, there’s often a pick-up game in the backyard, I’m always washing baseball jerseys in the laundry, listening to the latest baseball talk, and watching trading of baseball cards.

Perfect Shoes for Him for Summer

Summer is almost officially here. We are about a month and a half away and I can’t wait ! Summer means SO many different things to us: grilling, camping, playing catch in the yard, bike riding, motorcycle trips, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, playing with the dogs outside, and so much more. As you can tell, it’s my favorite time of the year. I’m a very active person and summer allows me to fit in all of my favorite activities!

I have been updating my closet for summer, but realized that Alex’s side still looks like winter. We got rid of a ton of clothes of his last fall, so it’s time for some serious updating. Since he’s not huge into going to the store and trying on a ton of things, I’m doing a lot of online shopping for his stuff.

I found these DC Villain Skate Shoes  that I know he will love. They slip on and off easily for our busy summer FULL of different activities. These look great with jeans or shorts and are dressy yet casual. This is a versatile shoe that guys will love.
