My husband goes on a bunch of missions where he sometimes has to stay a night or two. He is always complaining about the bags he has to bring along. He has a lot of different things he needs to bring with other than just clothes, so he is always just digging around in his bag for his things when he needs to get to them fast. I thought it would be a good idea to get him this Voodoo Tactical backpack. He loves camo print, so I was excited to find they had it in that print. He was so excited about it when he first saw it, but not even close to how excited he was about it when he first got to use it. He kept telling me how perfect it was and how much easier his missions are going to be just because of his new backpack.
Cabela’s is one of my favorite places to go. Even though I am not huge into hunting and camping, I still like to see all of the gear (and the huge display of animals in the middle of our local Cabela’s store). They also have a place to eat in ours and always have fudge and other yummy treats!
Right now, Cabela’s is having a “Great Gear Sale”. I’m not really sure how long this sale is going on for, but I’m really wanting to head in this week sometime and check it out with my guy! I still owe him a birthday present, so I think it would be easier to just have him pick something out (and it would help me out if it were on sale!).
I think he’ll really like this tackle box!
My dad has really gotten into coffee in the past few years. He used to never be interested until one day we were out and about and I stopped at Starbucks for my favorite Caramel Macchiato beverage. He decided to try it and was hooked!
This year for his birthday, we decided to get my dad a Keurig brewing system. I have one and I absolutely love it! I use it every morning and it saves me a lot of money because I don’t stop at a commercial coffee place every morning anymore. We are also going to get him a carousel to put on the counter next to the brewing machine to hold the k-cups.
I can’t wait for him to open his present!
I have been in serious spring cleaning mode lately. I can’t even describe just how good it feels to get rid of all of the stuff that I haven’t been using or that I don’t see a need in keeping. It’s so refreshing to de-clutter and reduce!
I have been doing all of the spring cleaning in the house, but I told Jeff that it’s his job to get the garage organized and looking as good as new. We went to Home Depot yesterday and picked up some shelving units. They fit great in the garage and I think they’ll be perfect for keeping things somewhat organized and in order.
Home Depot is having their “Spring Black Friday” sale, so we saved a little money, too!
I found a website for all things golf-related. It’s called Golf.com and it has golf news, instruction, equipment (and equipment reviews which is super helpful with all that is out there), courses and travel opportunities, and leaderboards for pro golfers.
This is a site that my guy always goes to. I wanted to share in case I had some readers that were fans of golf as well. Whether you play for fun, or are pretty competitive about it, check it out!
