Emergency Radio/Light

August 27th, 2010 by Man Blogger

This is pretty neat. It’s an emergency radio/light that is operated by crank. What’s nice about it is that it doesn’t require any external power source. It’s powered by turning the crank on the side of the unit. However, it also has a solar panel so if you’re outside, it can be powered by the sun. The radio in this particular model is AM/FM and it also has NOAA weatherband, which is fantastic if you’re outside and the weather turns bad. If you’re a camper or outside a lot, this is pretty much a necessity. I would also recommend having one in the house for emergency purposes.
