Fleet Farm is one of my husband’s favorite stores. When he goes shopping to his “guy stores”, I generally choose not to tag along. When he goes to Fleet Farm, however, I’m in the car before he can even grab his wallet!
I love going to Fleet Farm. They have a great selection of lawn and garden, fishing, hunting, clothing and footwear, pet supplies, farm, food, home improvement, sporting goods, tools, toys and so much more. They have some great deals, so you don’t have to worry about going over your budget (unless of course you buy a lot!).
We used to have to drive 45 minutes to get to our nearest Fleet Farm. I found out the other day that they are building one just 10 minutes away from our house! I’m super excited!
Sears is a great place to shop at. They have so many different amazing products here, including clothing, appliances, shoes, tools, automotive and tires, electronics, exercise equipment, lawn and garden, outdoor living and patio, jewelry, fitness, sports and so much more.
Sears also runs some pretty great sales. Tomorrow they are having a Super Saturday Sale that is good for things both online and in the store. They are having a preview of the deals that they will have. One of the great deals that I want to cash in on is the 10% off of patio furniture. I’ve been needing a new love-seat and chairs for our screened-in patio and think that I should take advantage of this! If you want to see some of the other great things that they have, check out their site!
Is it just programmed into the genes of men to love shopping at home improvement stores and hate shopping everywhere else? Last night I made the mistake of bringing my man into Target to pick up some items for a baby shower I am going to next weekend off of the couple’s registry. He complained a ton and rushed me through the store. We then stopped at Menard’s on the way home to pick up some outlet covers and a new sump pump and ended up spending nearly two hours in the store!
Menard’s is currently running four separate sales: Made in the USA Sale, Stock Up and Save Sale, Back to School Sale, and Priced Right Sale. There are so many savings throughout the store that we ended up picking up things to start a few different home improvement projects that we’ve been meaning to get done for quite some time now!
I love shopping at Hobby Lobby for home decor items for my house and office. I find some great things here ranging from wall hangings to candles and everything in between. Hobby Lobby has a sale every week in which they feature certain items at half off. They also always have a 40% off coupon that can be printed or scanned in from a smartphone in which you can use to save on items that aren’t on sale.
Hobby Lobby isn’t a typical “guy” place as I think of them. However, they have a huge selection of men’s decor items which are great for home bars, man caves, garages and sport’s rooms. They have themes such as hunting, fishing, military, cars, sports and much more. This is worth checking out!
I have been in serious spring cleaning mode lately. I can’t even describe just how good it feels to get rid of all of the stuff that I haven’t been using or that I don’t see a need in keeping. It’s so refreshing to de-clutter and reduce!
I have been doing all of the spring cleaning in the house, but I told Jeff that it’s his job to get the garage organized and looking as good as new. We went to Home Depot yesterday and picked up some shelving units. They fit great in the garage and I think they’ll be perfect for keeping things somewhat organized and in order.
Home Depot is having their “Spring Black Friday” sale, so we saved a little money, too!
